AIM issue...what the ...???

Ok, so I have AOL Instant Messenger on my computer. So, I sign on and start checking people's away messages right? Well, the next thing I know, I'm at my desktop...the program has signed me off...I am no longer logged onto aim. Does anyone know what is going on/what I can do about this issue? Thanks!

Does this happen every time you attempt to view away messages? I know AIM has been kicking me off a lot lately at random, but it hasn't been for any particular reason. Just a server issue, supposedly.

I do notice it when I'm checking away messages...but I think it might've happened once or so when I was not checking the messages. When you say a server issue, do you mean on AIM'S end or your server? Grrrr this is soo frustrating!!!

aim has kicked me off too but I think it was because I was signed on too long. How long did you sign on before you were checking away messages? When I check away messages, I have no problems like that at all.
